(Baonghean.vn) -Nam Can International Border Gate Police Station (Xieng Khouang Provincial Police, Lao PDR) and Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station (Nghe An Provincial Border Guard, Socialist Republic of Vietnam) have just held the 3rd meeting between the 2 units.

At the conference, representatives of the two units reported on the situation and results of the implementation of the contents in the second meeting minutes between the two units. The conference also discussed enthusiastically, exchanged and shared the advantages, difficulties and experiences in the implementation of the tasks of the two units and proposed tasks and solutions to improve the effectiveness of coordination between the two units in the coming time.

The focus will be on coordinating the fight against and preventing illegal migration; enhancing coordination in information exchange, bilateral patrols to protect borders and border gates, and combating crimes; promoting propaganda and education on the awareness of compliance with legal documents on borders for officials and people in border areas... contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developing border./.
