(Baonghean)Over the years, Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Corporation has strived to overcome many difficulties, achieving both effective production and business results while actively participating in social activities. For many years, the corporation has been a co-sponsor of the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth Football Tournament.
Like many other businesses in the area, the Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Corporation has faced numerous difficulties and challenges in its production and business operations over the past few years due to the economic downturn. In this new context, the Corporation has not been passive but has shifted its focus to investing in the production of compound fertilizers, linking business with service. The company has taken the lead in implementing the policy of linking and building large-scale model fields, creating conditions for farmers to access commodity production methods, rapidly increasing productivity, output, and income, and solving output problems, while also creating favorable conditions for the business to provide services; simultaneously, it has built a rice milling factory to contribute to the purchase of farmers' products.
General Director and Labor Hero Truong Van Hien stated: Participating in the model rice field project is a strategic move for the company. Through this activity, the company has provided farmers with advance seeds and fertilizers, guaranteed quality, and technical guidance; when the product is ready, the company buys it back at a price 10-20% higher than other rice varieties. In particular, if there are risks caused by natural disasters, the company will have a support policy. This approach has not only truly helped farmers overcome difficulties in various aspects and actively participate in promoting the model rice field project and intensive farming to increase crop yields, but it has also created opportunities for the enterprise to develop.

In the spring of 2013, the company collaborated in establishing model rice fields in the provinces of Dak Lak, Binh Dinh, Quang Ngai, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, and Nghe An, covering an area of 5,000 hectares, with an average yield of over 6 tons/ha. In Nghe An alone, in the spring of 2013, the company implemented model rice fields in four districts: Nam Dan, Nghi Loc, Quynh Luu, and Yen Thanh, using the purebred DT68 rice variety, achieving an average yield of 60 quintals/ha. In the summer-autumn of 2013, despite the complex and risky weather conditions and potential for natural disasters, the company continued to expand the model rice field project in the districts of Thanh Chuong, Dien Chau, and Con Cuong, covering an area of 200 hectares using the Hong Ngoc and NA2 varieties.
In addition, the company has invested in the cassava starch business in Dak Lak, opened a rice processing plant in the Nam Cam Industrial Park, creating an outlet for farmers' products; and collaborated in the production of various crop varieties for intensive farming, which are favored by farmers, such as the pure rice varieties NA2 and T68, and the corn variety VNL14…
Thanks to this, the company's production and business activities have overcome difficulties, maintained a steady pace of development, and experienced continuous growth. In 2012, total revenue reached 1200 billion VND, tax contributions amounted to 38 billion VND, average income was 5 million VND/person/month, and dividends were 20%. The company was one of the top 10 businesses operating efficiently and paying high taxes to the State, and was commended by the Provincial People's Committee in 2012.
Not only is the company successful in production and business, but it also actively participates in social and charitable activities. Every year, the company takes the lead in contributing to various funds such as: the fund for the poor, the fund to support war invalids and martyrs, the fund to help the disabled, the scholarship fund, the fund to support Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and support sports activities… with an average amount of nearly 2 billion VND per year (in 2012 alone, nearly 2.5 billion VND was donated). For the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth Football Tournament, in addition to providing cash support, company leaders also personally brought gifts to reward outstanding players who scored many beautiful goals for the audience in the group stage. Especially during the opening and closing ceremonies, the leaders and many employees still took the time to cheer on the team.
These meaningful actions and deeds not only demonstrate the company's sense of responsibility but also practically contribute to the success of the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament, leaving a positive impression on the audience.
