Professor Ngo Bao Chau launches the Talent Incubator.
On January 10th, Professor Ngo Bao Chau held an event to launch his Talent Incubator at his villa located at BT41 Tuan Chau area, Ha Long, Quang Ninh.
The talent nursery, located right next to the villa, is a gift from Mr. Dao Hong Tuyen – Chairman of Tuan Chau Group – to Professor Ngo Bao Chau, aiming to encourage young Vietnamese talents to contribute even more to the country.

Before and after receiving this meaningful gift, Professor Ngo Bao Chau consistently affirmed that he would not use the villa for personal or family purposes, but rather for the benefit of the community.
He hopes this place will be a source of inspiration and a nurturing ground for generations of talent, a meeting place and exchange hub for leading scientists from both within the country and internationally.
To fulfill that wish, Professor Ngo Bao Chau entrusted the management of this villa to the Talent Incubator Company Limited.
Professor Ngo Bao Chau proposed the establishment of a Talent Incubator Company Limited to manage and utilize the villa for its intended purpose. The company will operate on a non-profit basis, with all proceeds, after deducting maintenance and operating costs, invested in scientific and educational activities.
At the same time, the company's operation will serve as a test run, and the company itself will be the nucleus for a longer-term plan - the Ha Long Young Talent Incubator of Quang Ninh province and Professor Ngo Bao Chau.
Specifically, the Talent Incubator will operate in three areas: Educational Consulting; Short-term Accommodation; and Organizing Cultural, Scientific, and Educational Events.
Regarding the field of educational consulting: To realize the ideas of Professor Ngo Bao Chau and the leaders of Quang Ninh province, instead of waiting for administrative procedures to be completed, the (expected) leaders of the company proactively advised and acted as a bridge between the Quang Ninh Department of Education and Training and the leaders of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Mathematics to organize and invite experienced teachers to participate in teaching for gifted student training courses in Quang Ninh. Mr. Pham Van Hung, Chairman of the Board of Members of the company, directly participated in teaching.
In the first phase of the training course, more than 100 students benefited. In the future, the company will continue to work alongside the Quang Ninh Department of Education and Training to realize the ideas of the leaders at all levels in the endeavor to train high-quality human resources for the province. Regarding educational consulting services, the company has been, is, and will continue to provide these services free of charge to Quang Ninh.
Regarding the short-term accommodation sector: the company will use this villa for its operations, and this will be the main source of revenue. After covering labor, operating, and maintenance costs, the remaining profit will be used to support educational consulting activities and organize cultural, scientific, and educational events.
Regarding the field of organizing cultural, scientific, and educational events: The company has organized and will continue to organize community-oriented activities with the desire to organize many beneficial events (for example, last night, the company organized and sponsored a meeting of generations of students who participated in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) with the Quang Ninh gifted student delegation and Professor Ngo Bao Chau).
In 2015, the company plans to collaborate with organizations and individuals to organize talent development activities, teacher training, scientific conferences and seminars, etc.
