Although the eventHappy Tet 2022The program was organized by the Agricultural Trade Union before Tet, but until now, when I think about that program, I still have the same feeling of joy and warmth. This is also the only occasion in the year that I can wear my beautiful clothes to join in the fun, blend in with the joyful and exciting atmosphere with everyone. In particular, in the recent Tet Sum vay program, I received caring gifts from the trade union organization, was drawn to win valuable prizes, and received gifts when participating in exchanges... After the program, I had enough fish sauce, MSG, and candies for Tet without having to buy anything else. My family is very grateful for the care and favor of the company's trade union as well as the industry's trade union.

My husband is a farmer. Two years ago, he unfortunately suffered a stroke and had to stay in bed. During that time of depression and hardship, the company's union and colleagues were there to support and help him in a timely manner. My husband was rushed to the emergency room, and they visited him. When the weather changed, they rolled up their pants to encourage him. No matter how much latex was tapped, they didn't mind, sending trucks to collect it... That's why even though traders from outside came to buy latex at a higher price, my husband and I didn't sell. We understand that in life, affection is an immeasurable value.

With the material and spiritual care of the union, my family has overcome the most difficult period, wishing to share with those in more difficult circumstances and optimistically looking towards the future. We hope that all workers in difficult circumstances will also receive the same care and attention from the union as we do.

At 10:30 a.m. on January 22, 2022, after a rapid test to return home for Tet, a worker in our company was found positive for SARS-CoV-2. As soon as the information was received, local leaders locked down the entire company, monitored, exploited epidemiological factors, and took samples to screen all 700 workers of the company. At 7:00 p.m. the same day, 97 workers in the company were confirmed to have Covid-19... Right before the Tet holiday, we received this information in shock and anxiety. And it was the District Labor Federation that promptly helped our company overcome this difficulty, from the first day until the days of Tet.

On the afternoon of January 23, the District Labor Union promptly presented F0s who were being treated in a centralized facility and F1s who were being quarantined at the factory with necessities such as saline, vitamin C, medical masks, mineral water, etc. The last working day beforeTet holiday, our company is facing difficulties because there are still 40 F0 workers remaining at the company while the company needs to disinfect the entire factory and the treatment points are all overloaded. The leaders of the Thanh Chuong District Labor Federation have proactively contacted the authorities, flexibly handled and coordinated to ensure the company's plan and the health of the workers. This initiative makes us respect and trust the union organization even more. The leaders of the corporation in Hanoi also directly contacted the district Labor Federation to express their deep gratitude.

In 2022, we hope that the relationship between trade unions and businesses will continue to develop and become even closer. Such coordination and support will not only benefit businesses but also ensure many benefits for workers.

Over the past two years, the pandemic has completely turned the lives of doctors and nurses like us upside down. Also during those two years, we did not have a complete Tet holiday. Until now, after 6 months of fighting the epidemic at the center, when I was able to go home to celebrate Tet with my family, the doctors and nurses in the positive area still could not reunite, still had to stay on duty to fight the epidemic... There were cases where the children of doctors and nurses fighting the epidemic were away from their parents when they were still premature, and when the parents returned, they did not let them hold the baby. Without the warmth and care from their parents, the children were very disadvantaged.

It was so hard and difficult, but luckily we always received care and attention.encouragement from industry unionsand the hospital union, both materially and spiritually. The industry union has implemented many practical and meaningful activities such as donating necessities, buying insurance cards against the risk of contracting Covid-19, prioritizing vaccinations for relatives of doctors and nurses on the front lines of the epidemic, preparing thoughtful Mid-Autumn Festival gift packages for children of doctors and nurses... Those gifts, those timely visits and encouragements make us feel very warm and secure in our work.

Because the union has always been creative and flexible in taking care of union members and workers, I do not know what else to suggest. I only hope that the industry union in particular and the union organization in general will continue to maintain this care and companionship, not only with us but also with other units, especially district-level medical units, field hospitals... Entering 2022, I wish for nothing more than that we can defeat Covid-19, defeat the epidemic to return to a peaceful life as before. I believe this is also the common wish of many people.

We understand that each year, the branches of other associations are often supported with a certain amount of funding to organize activities. However, the fishing union has not received much financial support from the trade union and the State. Currently, the operating budget is mainly mobilized from contributions from members.

With its own characteristics, every year, our union members encounter many unfortunate accidents, including serious cases such as falling into the sea and going missing. If in the rescue work, the union has had support from the District People's Committee and the Border Guard Station, then in the work of visiting and encouraging,Dien Chau District Labor Federationhas regularly cared and shared both materially and spiritually. The support levels range from 1-3 million VND depending on the severity of each specific case. Occasionally, the District Labor Federation organizes the giving of flags and gifts to union members. Although not much, this has the meaning of encouraging the spirit of union members, demonstrating the caring and accompanying role of the union organization.

We also hope that in the future there will be more programs to coordinate activities and increase the encouragement and visitation activities from the trade union organization. It does not need to be large valuable gifts, just small gifts such as small medicine cabinets are very valuable. Such gifts are not only practical, showing care and companionship but also encouraging fishermen to go out to sea.
