For us, workers, working in an environment with harmonious and stable labor relations, where employees are respected and recognized, is extremely meaningful. In the period of economic recovery and development after the COVID-19 pandemic, this is even more meaningful in resolving the concerns and aspirations of employees as well as promoting development and creating momentum for growth for the enterprise.
To achieve that, in my opinion, the trade union organization should become a bridge, helping business leaders listen to the opinions of workers through activities such as regular workers' conferences and when hot issues arise. Other methods such as surveys, suggestion boxes, etc. are also effective ways to help workers' voices be presented on new issues arising from practice.
In the coming time, I hope that the superior trade unions will pay more attention to directing the grassroots trade unions at enterprises to organize workplace dialogue conferences and labor conferences to contribute to increasing income, improving working conditions, paying attention to health care, and having more welfare activities for union members, bringing tangible benefits to union members and workers.

Therefore, workers really hope that the trade union organization will continue to pay attention to and focus on implementing emulation activities in the fields of culture, arts, and sports before major holidays of the country, the locality, and the trade union organization. Currently, many workers and their families are living in cramped rented houses. Many rooms are under 10m2.2, just enough to put a bed, a study table for the children and a kitchen. Above is a fibro cement roof to protect from the sun and rain. In winter, the cold wind blows in, in summer, the rented room is as hot as a fire. However, they have to accept renting those cheap rented rooms because if they rent a bigger, better room, the meager income from the worker's salary will not be enough to cover their living expenses.
In fact, many companies, business units or local leaders have not paid due attention to the above issue. Housing development targets, especially social housing and housing for workers, have not been included in long-term socio-economic development plans.
Meanwhile, I understand that Clause 4, Article 4, Decree 35/2022/ND-CP stipulates that industrial parks must reserve a minimum land fund of 2% of the total area to build housing for workers. Therefore, entering the new term, I hope that the Trade Unions at all levels will take more effective action to spread the aspirations and wishes of workers related to this housing issue to businesses and local Party committees and authorities where the businesses are located. From there, there will be early solutions so that the Project of workers' housing areas and sports and cultural facilities for workers in industrial parks as prescribed in Decree 35/2022/ND-CP can be implemented soon.
Only by achieving that can employees feel secure in their work, strive to stick with the company for a long time, and create a solid solidarity to build an increasingly strong business.

Working in the health sector for many years, I have personally witnessed many cases of patients injured by work accidents or suffering from occupational diseases that have led to serious and lasting consequences for their health and lives. This issue raises a warning bell about the need to improve working conditions and ensure occupational safety in industrial environments, manufacturing plants and in specialized occupations.
In the new term, when more and more businesses choose Nghe An as a destination, creating a safe and hygienic working environment in the business is extremely necessary. In my opinion, to raise awareness and responsibility of employers and employees in this issue, the Trade Unions at all levels in the province have promoted propaganda work in many forms such as: organizing training courses, seminars, competitions for excellent safety and hygiene workers at all levels, distributing leaflets, posters, and safety and hygiene handbooks to help workers have more regular access. At the same time, raising awareness of the importance of this work.
In addition, the need to strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of policies and laws on occupational safety and health at enterprises and production and business establishments is also considered important and seriously implemented by trade unions at all levels. Resolution No. 10c/NQ-BCH dated January 12, 2017 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) on "Improving the effectiveness of occupational safety and health (OSH) work of trade unions in the new situation" is taken to be implemented synchronously and effectively. From there, gradually improve working conditions, contribute to promoting production development and increasing labor productivity.
As for the health sector, which is also a special sector, in the coming term we hope that the trade union will continue to stand side by side with union members, doctors, and workers in the health sector to ensure benefits and policies that are worthy of their efforts and are appropriate to the characteristics of the sector, especially in areas with high risk of toxic infections.

It can be seen that workers in Nghe An are very hard-working, diligent, and industrious, which are valuable qualities that not every locality has. In recent times, the quality of labor resources in Nghe An has been improved. However, in the trend of continuous development of society, the criteria set for products are increasingly high, so workers need to make more efforts in renewing their thinking, improving production and business efficiency, and actively studying to improve their skills.
According to observations, the number of workers with technical qualifications from intermediate technical level and above is still small, lacking skilled workers in electronics, mechanics... Along with that, the proportion of workers with high school degrees who have not been trained is still high, still carrying the style of spontaneous labor and lacking the requirements of modern management and production technology of enterprises.
In that situation, enterprises certainly need to create conditions in terms of time for union members and workers to participate in studying and improving their qualifications; linking the improvement of qualifications and professional skills for union members and workers with the responsibility of employers. At the same time, encourage workers to study and improve their professional skills.
As for the trade union organization, it is necessary to have a strong impact to raise awareness among workers in the effort to improve their skills. Trade unions need to proactively coordinate with employers in determining the needs of businesses and the aspirations of workers to improve their expertise and skills. Ensure training and professional development for workers, meeting the needs of businesses and the aspirations of workers. At the same time, proactively propose to the higher-level trade union and the board of directors to coordinate with the competent authorities to propose coordination with training institutions in the province to organize training courses and improve professional skills for workers and laborers. The 19th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028, is an important political event for the team of workers, civil servants and laborers, opening a new development stage of Nghe An Provincial Trade Union.
I hope that the 19th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Trade Union will select a new Executive Committee that is truly dedicated, intelligent, responsible, courageous, and capable of gathering and uniting workers to continue building a strong Nghe An Trade Union organization to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization of the homeland and country.
Faced with the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead, I hope that the Provincial Trade Union Executive Committee will clearly demonstrate its long-term vision not only for this term but also for the following terms, and that the movement building orientation must keep pace with and accompany the socio-economic development of the locality and the country. At the same time, it will further promote the core role of the Trade Union organization in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
