Submit the Trang An scenic area dossier to the World Heritage Center.
On the afternoon of January 11th, Mr. Phan Dinh Tan, Deputy Chief of Office and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, stated that the dossier for the Trang An scenic complex has been compiled, supplemented, and revised by the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee in accordance with the feedback from the World Heritage Center and the regulations of UNESCO in the Guidelines for the Implementation of the World Heritage Convention.
Therefore, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism sent and requested the Vietnam National UNESCO Committee to send an official letter to the UNESCO World Heritage Center (along with the dossier of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex) before January 31, 2013, so that Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex could be considered for recognition as a World Heritage Site in 2014.
