Send love through every dish
(Baonghean) -Winning First Prize at the National Vocational Teachers' Competition 2015 last September is an important milestone in his professional career.Ms. Duong Thi Minh Thuong - teacher of the culinary department at Nghe An College of Tourism and Commerce. Her path to becoming a good chef has gone through many difficulties.
Mother - the one who lights the passion
Ms. Thuong still remembers very clearly from her childhood, mother and daughter cooking and chatting with each other. In those stories, mother always reminded: Whatever you do, you must have love and passion to be successful. The same goes for cooking, if you do not focus, do not put your feelings into each dish, the food will certainly not be delicious.
With her mother's confidences and her passion, Thuong gradually realized that she seemed to have determined her future career.

In 1998, after graduating from high school, all of Thuong's friends enrolled in universities. As for her, she decided to study culinary arts at the Central College of Tourism in Hai Duong.
After 2 years of studying, in 2000, she graduated and was recruited to work at Cua Lo Guest House - one of the largest and most prestigious guest houses at that time.
Having accumulated a lot of experience, in 2010, Thuong learned that the College of Commerce and Tourism was recruiting culinary teachers and was hired.
Inspire students
Up to now, Ms. Thuong cannot remember how many students she has taught, helping them find stable jobs. Occasionally receiving words of thanks from students who have found jobs after graduation, makes her love her job even more.
To have good lectures, lively, attractive and effective practice sessions, Thuong worries, creates, prepares dishes and encourages students' creativity in each lesson.

With constant effort and creativity, Thuong entered the lecture into the National Vocational Teachers' Teaching Competition and won first prize, surpassing 240 excellent teachers from vocational schools across the country...
