Netherlands U17:Schuurman (39')

Coach John Peacock's young players successfully "avenged" the debt against the Netherlands U17 team by defeating this team on penalties to win the European championship for the second time in 4 years. Previously, the Netherlands U17 team defeated the "Young Lions" 2-0 in the final match of the group stage, when Peacock's army completed the task of winning a ticket to the next round.

In this reunion,England U17played with reasonable tactics and they took the lead in the 25th minute thanks to Dominic Solanke. However, Schuurman managed to equalize the advantage 1-1 for U17 Netherlands before the first half ended.

In the second half, both U17 Netherlands and U17 England played with great determination, trying to increase the pressure to find a goal but were unsuccessful. U17 England showed their tenacity and strength against the opponent's suffocating attacking style. After 90 minutes of inconclusive play and 30 minutes of extra time without a winner, both teams entered the fateful penalty shootout.

It is commendable that the England U17s were able to successfully take 4 shots while the Netherlands only managed 1. Winning 4-1 in the penalty shootout, Coach Peacock's team became the new King of European football.
