Hanoi asks officials not to hold weddings at 5-star hotels

The document was issued by the Hanoi People's Committee to continue implementing Directive No. 11 of the City Party Committee issued in October 2012, requiring leaders and managers at all levels of the city to be exemplary and take the lead in organizing weddings for their children or themselves according to regulations such as the number of guests attending the party not exceeding 300 people; not organizing wedding parties multiple times; not inviting guests during working hours; not organizing weddings in places with too expensive costs that are not suitable for the common life and income of the community and civil servants such as 5-star hotels, high-class tourist areas, etc.
The implementation of this directive will be associated with the evaluation of the titles "Cultural family, cultural residential group, cultural village", "Cultural agency, unit, enterprise".
