Ha Thu won the gold medal in the 'Beachwear' competition at Miss Earth

Vietnam's representative continues to have high achievements at Miss Earth, taking place in the Philippines.

At Miss Earth, about 90 contestants were divided into groups to participate in several sub-contests. The "Beach Wear" segment of Miss Earth 2017 was held on the evening of October 13. Ha Thu was in the third group.

The Vietnamese representative wore a bright yellow bikini, over a thin chiffon dress of the same color, confidently walking the catwalk near the end of the program. She surprisingly won, taking the gold medal and surpassing Miss USA (silver) and Miss Ukraine (bronze).

On her personal page, Ha Thu thanked the audience for their encouragement and the help of stylist Hiep Chu.

This is Ha Thu's first gold medal and second medal at Miss Earth 2017. Previously, the beauty won a bronze medal in the Talent competition with the song Colors of the wind.

This year, Miss Earth will feature 90 beauties from various countries and territories. The finale will take place on November 4 in Manila, Philippines.
