Ha Tinh removes all checkpoints for people and vehicles from Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Ha Tinh has just issued a document on removing most of the checkpoints in the area, only maintaining 2 checkpoints on National Highway 1A and Ho Chi Minh Road on the border with Quang Binh province.
On October 24, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province issued a document on the operation of checkpoints for people and vehicles to adapt safely, flexibly, and effectively control the Covid-19 epidemic.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province decided to remove a series of checkpoints. In particular, all checkpoints for people and vehicles passing through Nghe An were removed.
The checkpoints that were specifically removed include: On National Highway 1, there is a checkpoint at Km468+150 south of Ben Thuy 1 bridge in Xuan An town, Nghi Xuan district; At Km469+00 south of the intersection of National Highway 1 with the overpass of Ben Thuy 2 bridge (towards Củi market) in Xuan An town, Nghi Xuan district; At Km469+300 south of Ben Thuy 2 bridge - National Highway 1 bypass in Xuan An town, Nghi Xuan district; On Ho Chi Minh road, the checkpoint at Km766+300 in Son Tien commune, Huong Son district was removed.

On National Highway 8, remove the checkpoint at Km85+00 in Son Kim 2 commune, Huong Son district (Cau Treo International Border Gate area).
On National Highway 8C, remove the checkpoint at Km139+200 National Highway 8C, in Son Hong commune, Huong Son district (bordering Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province).
On provincial road DT.552, remove the checkpoint at Km0+00 of provincial road DT.552 in Tung Chau commune, Duc Tho district (Ha Tinh side bordering Nghe An).
On provincial road DT.547, the checkpoint at the southern end of Cua Hoi bridge, located in Dan Truong commune, Nghi Xuan district, was removed. In addition, Ha Tinh also removed the checkpoint on the Con Pass bypass (bordering Quang Binh province) located in Ky Lac commune, Ky Anh district.
Currently, Ha Tinh has only 2 checkpoints to control people and vehicles from Quang Binh. These two checkpoints are at Km590+400 National Highway 1 in Ky Nam commune, Ky Anh town and at Km846+900 Ho Chi Minh road in Huong Trach commune, Huong Khe district.
