The U.S. House of Representatives voted unanimously to sue President Barack Obama.
On July 30, the Republican-controlled U.S. House of Representatives paved the way for a lawsuit against President Barack Obama for exceeding his authority in implementing healthcare reform legislation.
With a vote of 225-201, the U.S. House of Representatives authorized lawyers to draft legal documents during the agency's five-week summer recess, which began on August 1st.

The move is a significant event in the coming months as the Democratic and Republican campaigns are underway ahead of the elections at the end of November. These elections will determine which party controls Congress next year.
The lawsuit would argue that Obama exceeded his authority when he unilaterally made changes to the healthcare law, also known as Obamacare.
