The strange thing is that the link on the website starts with http:// instead of https://. It is likely that VPBank's email has been forged or hacked for the purpose of fraud.
VPBank representative said: “In recent days, we have discovered some signs that subjects have taken advantage of the email system for bad purposes. Some emails with fake content were sent to some customers instructing customers on how to secure their credit cards and payment accounts and suggesting customers to provide card information via a provided link. We have quickly coordinated with partners to take drastic measures to prevent it, and continue to take measures to improve the security of this email system."
VPBank affirms that VPbank online has only one address at https://online.vpbank.com.vn, all other addresses are fake.
