This teenager bypassed the website's security barriers with ease and "edited" the voting results in the state of Florida.
In addition, not only Brewer, but also 35 conference participants, ranging in age from 6 to 17, were able to cope with this seemingly difficult task.
In a short period of time, the teenage hackers not only attacked the website, but also changed the names of the winners as well as the number of votes the candidates received.
During the conference, organizers hope to test the robustness of the voting system's website protection, as well as identify problems there. However, organizers note that the actual voting system is much harder to attack.
