HAGL has many options to replace Tuan Anh
Head of HAGL football team Nguyen Tan Anh said that Tuan Anh's absence from competition due to injury does not reduce the team's strength much.
“Tuan Anh is not under any pressure regarding the recovery time of his injury. He can rest assured that he will be completely cured because the team has an alternative plan.
HAGL has many personnel options in the midfield. Ngoc Quang, Minh Vuong or Viet Hung can all replace Tuan Anh to play alongside Xuan Truong in the midfield area", Head of HAGL football team Nguyen Tan Anh shared.

Tuan Anh is very susceptible to injury. |
Tuan Anh collided with his teammate and suffered an injury in the 1-1 draw with Hai Phong in round 2 on March 17. The scan results showed that the midfielder from Thai Binh had a fractured lateral meniscus in his right knee, swelling of the anterior cruciate ligament, swelling of the lateral meniscus and a hamstring injury. HAGL decided to send Tuan Anh to Korea for treatment by Dr. Choi Joo Yong. Mr. Choi had previously treated Park Ji-sung.
“After the examination, Dr. Choi Joo Yong advised Tuan Anh to have surgery to treat the injury. However, if he had surgery, the recovery time would be long. Therefore, Tuan Anh asked the doctor to monitor him further. After 15 days, he would be re-evaluated to make a final decision on whether or not he needed surgery. Currently, the midfielder practices six hours a day, following Dr. Choi Joo Yong's strict training plan,” Mr. Tan Anh added.
Bau Duc considered Tuan Anh an excellent player of the first course of the Arsenal JMG Academy. However, constant injuries caused this talented midfielder to fall behind his teammates such as Cong Phuong, Xuan Truong or Van Thanh.
He has just returned after a year away from the field due to an injury while playing in Japan, missing out on the AFF Cup and the most recent SEA Games. However, after only playing two rounds of V-League 2018, Tuan Anh had to take a long break.
HAGL has only two points. This team will have the opportunity to win the first victory of this year's season when they host Nam Dinh on April 1 at home. Coach Van Sy's team is considered the weakest in the tournament, having only one point after 3 matches.
