Two brothers died while working at Ninh Hiep fabric market

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 17, Mr. Ha Huy Cong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Duc Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district confirmed that in the commune, 2 brothers had just died and 3 others were injured while working as laborers in Hanoi.

Accordingly, the deceased victims included Bui Van Giap (born in 1994) and Bui Van Hoang (born in 2000), two brothers, residing in Canh Son hamlet, Duc Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.

The remaining victims are being taken to Duc Giang General Hospital, Gia Lam District (Hanoi).

The family prepared the procedures to receive the bodies of the two brothers for burial.

Regarding the incident, at around 6am this morning (September 17), when seeing that the workers at the house in Hamlet 3, Ninh Hiep Commune, Gia Lam District, Hanoi City had not yet come to work, the owner of a clothing store at Ninh Hiep fabric market went to the residence to call and discovered all 6 people in an unconscious state.

Immediately, the store owner and local people took the victims to the emergency room and reported to the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, Gia Lam District Police were present to block off the scene and investigate the cause of the incident.

It is known that among the 6 victims, 5 were from the same hometown in Canh Son hamlet, Duc Thanh commune, Yen Thanh. Many people said that it is very possible that during the power outage, the workers started the generator, leading to suffocation from toxic gas?.

The cause of the incident is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
