Two 9X workers broke into the construction site and 'stole' 26 paint cans.

(Baonghean.vn)- Taking advantage of loopholes in management and supervision, two painters bypassed security and took 26 paint cans, worth nearly 60 million VND, outside to sell for money to spend.

On the morning of May 26, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Ngo Hong Phu (born in 1990) and Nguyen Hoai Linh (born in 1997), both residing in Xuan Vien commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province, for theft of property.

Previously, on May 14, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency received a report that at the construction site of Cargill Company Limited, headquartered in Zone C of Nam Cam Industrial Park, a number of assets were missing, including 26 18-liter Dulux and Maxilite paint cans, worth nearly VND60 million. These assets belonged to a company that undertook the project for Kansai Joint Stock Company, headquartered in Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi. (Kansai Joint Stock Company undertook the construction of the factory of Cargill Company Limited).

After receiving the report, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency sent forces to the scene, coordinating with Nghi Xa Commune Police to investigate and clarify the theft. Using professional measures, in a short time, the investigation agency identified Ngo Hong Phu and Nguyen Hoai Linh as the two subjects who caused the theft. On May 18, the investigation agency arrested Ngo Hong Phu when he was preparing to flee to the southern provinces and recovered the property that the two subjects had stolen. On May 23, Nguyen Hoai Linh surrendered to the police investigation agency.

Evidence of the case.

At the investigation agency, Phu and Linh confessed to all their thefts. Accordingly, on the evening of May 13, the two subjects took advantage of the paint warehouse having no lock and the company's policy of working overtime to make it in time for the factory inauguration ceremony to commit the theft.

That night, Phu and Linh lied to the factory gate guards that they were taking paint outside to paint the factory's perimeter wall. After many trips past the guards, Phu and Linh stole the 26 cans of paint mentioned above, put them in a car, and hid them at their house, waiting for the opportunity to sell them.

The case is currently being investigated by Nghi Loc Police to handle the subjects according to the provisions of law./.
