Martyr's remains after 43 years of searching are brought home
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 1, the Military Command of Do Luong district coordinated with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Lac Son commune, Nguyen Duy's family and people in the commune to solemnly organize a ceremony to receive, pay tribute and bury the remains of Martyr Nguyen Duy Que.
Martyr Nguyen Duy Que was born in 1948 in Khai Son village, Lac Son commune, Do Luong district, Nghe An province. He enlisted in April 1970 in Company C33, Battalion 23, Brigade 26, Group 559 to fight against the US in the southern battlefield.

In the fierce battle to liberate Ben Cau district, Tay Ninh province; he heroically sacrificed himself on March 12, 1975.
In 1978, the comrade's remains were gathered by officials and people of Ben Cau district to the district's Martyrs Cemetery.
Up to now, after 43 years of searching, the family has accurately identified the grave and brought the martyr's remains from Ben Cau District Martyrs' Cemetery, Tay Ninh Province back to his hometown.

The ceremony to receive the remains of martyr Nguyen Duy Que was solemnly and respectfully organized by officials, authorities, departments of Lac Son commune and Nguyen Duy's family.
After the funeral, the comrade's remains were brought back to the family cemetery for burial.
