Two students from Nghe An were selected for the Mendeleev International Chemistry Olympiad team.
(Baonghean.vn) - This is the first good news for Nghe An Education sector this school year when for the first time the school has 2 students selected for the national team to participate in the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad.
This is the first time the Vietnamese team has participated in the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad. The selected group of students consists of 10 members and all are excellent students who have won high prizes at theNational Excellent Student Exam.
As planned, this year's Mendeleev International Chemistry Olympiad will take place from April 20 to April 27 in Shenzhen (China).
Among the 10 selected members, there are 2 students from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.

They are Nguyen Ngo Duc (11A4 class) and Le Xuan Anh Quan (12A4 class). Previously, Chemistry was the subject with the most prizes in the National Excellent Student Competition of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted this school year, with 4 First prizes. This is also the team with the most students of the school selected for the second round of the national team selection exam to participate in the International Olympic Competitions (5/14 students).
Nguyen Ngo Duc was a student at Dang Thai Mai Secondary School and an 11th grader who won first prize at the National Excellent Student Competition in the 2023-2024 school year.
Le Xuan Anh Quan was a student at Bach Lieu Secondary School (Yen Thanh). For two consecutive years, Quan was a National Excellent Student, winning Second Prize in 11th grade and First Prize in 12th grade./.
