Two of them, Le Van Anh and Tran Van Minh (both residing in Tan Khanh hamlet, Nghia Khanh commune), did not know how to swim.againDue to carelessness, one of them drowned. When they discovered what had happened, some of their friends rushed to save them, but it was too late because the current was strong and the river was deep. They ran back to inform their neighbors.

Many people from Nghia Khanh commune went to the river to search for the bodies of the two children.

Upon receiving the news, hundreds of local residents and the Nghia Khanh commune authorities rushed to the river.,pIt took Hai nearly two hours to find the bodies of the two children.

Earlier, at noon on April 24th, two students from Quynh Lap commune, Quynh Luu district, went swimming in the sea and drowned.
