A suicide bombing occurred on the same day, December 18, in the city of Aden, southern Yemen, killing at least 52 soldiers and injuring 34 others. Once again, IS also claimed responsibility for this incident. Previously, on December 10, a terrorist attack occurred at this base, killing at least 48 soldiers. 4. Assassination of the Russian Ambassador in Ankara, Türkiye
