(Baonghean.vn) - The accident occurred at around 11:55 a.m. on August 17 (km 13+400) on the Vinh bypass (in Hung Dao commune - Hung Nguyen), causing the driver to be hospitalized in critical condition.

Witnesses to the accident said that at the time both vehicles were traveling at high speed, when they reached Hung Dao commune, the accident happened.

Accordingly, car with license plate 37C-219.85 was traveling from South to North while car with license plate 38C-094.92 was traveling in the opposite direction (the identities of both drivers are currently unknown).

At the scene, both cars were completely crushed in the front, the mirrors were shattered, the front axle was broken, and the driver of car with license plate 38C - 094.92 had to be forced open by local people to get him out and take him to the emergency room.

After the accident, the traffic police force of Hung Nguyen district police arrived promptly to regulate traffic and handle the incident.
