Two cars carrying 288 heroin bricks crashed into police
Two suspects threw more than 100kg of heroin, worth 57 billion VND, onto the street to destroy evidence while fleeing from the police.

According to private sourcesVnExpress, night of February 23,The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) coordinated with professional departments of Cao Bang Provincial Police to stop and arrestTwo cars carrying drugs were driven by Tran Van Bang (31 years old) and Tran Van Thanh (30 years old, both from Vinh Phuc province).The road runs through Bach Dang commune, Hoa An district, Cao Bang province.
Blocked by police on both sides, Bang and Thanh drove their car into the task force to escape and threw bags and sacks along the road. However, the two drivers were later restrained.
Bang and Thanh confessed that they found 288 heroin cakes in their travel bag and pineapple sack thrown on the street.(over 100kg), worth about 57 billion VND.
Searching Bang's house in Kim Xa commune (Vinh Tuong, Vinh Phuc), police seized 100 more synthetic drug pills and one billion VND.

According to the Department of Drug Crime Investigation,This is the case that has seized the largest amount of heroin ever in Cao Bang province. Suspect Bang is the leader.drug trafficking and illegal transportation from Laos to Vietnam and then to China for consumption.This line operates in a closed loop with many participants having family relationships.
Expanding the case, authorities arrested many other suspects, including Nong Van Hoan (in Trung Khanh, Cao Bang province),Phan Van Hien (Vinh Tuong, Vinh Phuc) - the main person transporting drugs from Van Ho district to Vinh Tuong district to deliver to Bang.
