Two young men robbed a woman on a motorbike of a bag containing 100 million VND.
Following a woman walking alone on a deserted dike road, two young men snatched her bag and sped away.
On October 9, Phu Xuyen District Police (Hanoi) said they were detaining Ngo Van Manh (24 years old) and Nguyen Van Khang (30 years old) to clarify the act of robbery. Khang has three previous convictions.

According to the police, at around 2:30 p.m. on October 3, Khang and Manh approached a 34-year-old woman riding a motorbike on the Red River embankment and snatched a bag containing 100 million VND. The victim cried for help in vain on a deserted road.
24 hours after committing the crime, Khang was arrested with 70 million VND. Two days later, Manh surrendered.
The two suspects said they needed money to buy drugs, so they rode their motorbikes around deserted streets looking for "prey". After snatching 100 million VND, Khang gave Manh 30 million.
