Two teenagers murdered a scrap metal seller and robbed her of her property.
Hoang Van Thanh and Le Huu Hieu pretended to be scrap metal buyers to approach the homeowner, then used a knife to kill her and rob her of money and gold.
On August 3, two suspects, Hoang Van Thanh, 19 years old, from Lai Chau, and Le Huu Hieu, 16 years old, from Hanoi, were arrested by the Investigation Police Agency of Bac Ninh Province Police to investigate their behavior.Murder, Robbery.
According to the investigation, Thanh and Hieu knew each other from before because they both worked as construction workers in Tu Son City. Because they needed money to buy a cell phone and for personal expenses, they both decided to rob each other. To carry out the plan, Thanh and Hieu each carried a pig-slaughtering knife and walked around the neighborhood looking for an opportunity.

At around 7:30 p.m. on August 2, two suspects came to the scrap metal shop of Ms. Phan Thi Bon, 65 years old, in Duong Loi neighborhood, Tan Hong ward, Tu Son city. Seeing that only the old woman was home, Thanh and Hieu went in, pretending to be customers asking to buy scrap, then used a knife to stab Ms. Bon about 10 times in the chest and abdomen, causing her to die on the spot.
After committing the crime, the two ransacked the house, taking 14 million VND, a gold necklace, and 2 gold rings. On the way to escape, they bought 2 iPhones and took a bus to Lai Chau where they were arrested by the police.
