The two General Secretaries of Vietnam and China witnessed the signing of 36 cooperation documents.
General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping witnessed the signing of 36 cooperation documents between the two countries.
On the afternoon of December 12, after high-level talks, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping reviewed and listened to the introduction of 36 cooperation agreements in many fields signed between ministries, sectors and localities of the two countries, demonstrating the rich and comprehensive achievements that both sides achieved during this visit.
The cooperation agreement documents include:
- Cooperation agreement between the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China for the period 2024 - 2028.
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China on the translation and publication of classic works.
- Plan to implement the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Central Committee for Internal Affairs of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Central Committee for Political and Legal Affairs of the Communist Party of China for the period 2023 - 2027.
- Agreement on further deepening cooperation in the new period between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.
- Agreement on the transfer of sentenced prisoners between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the People's Republic of China.
- Agreement on crime prevention and control between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the People's Republic of China.
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam and the Ministry of National Defense of China on Joint Patrols in the Gulf of Tonkin.
- Cooperation plan to jointly promote the connection between the “Two Corridors, One Belt” framework and the “Belt and Road” initiative between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the People's Republic of China.
- Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the People's Republic of China on the joint construction of a road bridge across the Red River in the border area of Bat Xat, Lao Cai, Vietnam - Ba Sai, Yunnan, China.
- Protocol between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the People's Republic of China on simplifying entry and exit procedures for employees, means of transport, construction equipment and construction materials through Lao Cai - Ha Khau border gate to jointly build a road bridge across the Red River at the border of Bat Xat, Vietnam - Ba Sai, China.
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Planning and Investment of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the State Administration for International Development Cooperation of the People's Republic of China on strengthening development cooperation and promoting the implementation of the Global Development Initiative (MOU).
- Agreement on cooperation in search and rescue at sea between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the People's Republic of China.
- Agreement to establish a hotline to provide information on unexpected incidents arising from fishing activities at sea.
- Memorandum of Understanding on promoting investment cooperation in the field of green development between the Ministry of Planning and Investment of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China.
- Agreement on implementing friendly exchanges between local Party Committees of Hai Phong City, Communist Party of Vietnam and Yunnan Provincial Party Committee, Communist Party of China.
- Action plan for the period 2023 - 2026 to implement the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the People's Government of Yunnan Province, China on enhancing economic and trade cooperation.
