Two cases in Nghe An were gored by buffaloes through the thighs
(Baonghean.vn) - In just 4 days, in a mountainous commune of Que Phong district, there have been 2 cases of injuries caused by buffalo goring.
Accordingly, at noon on March 21, while pulling the rope to move the buffalo, 69-year-old Lo Thi Tho in Cam Muon commune (Que Phong) was gored in the thigh by her own buffalo and thrown high up. The gore punctured her left thigh. Her family promptly bandaged her and took her to the Que Phong District Medical Center for emergency treatment.
Currently, Mr. Tho is being treated for an open wound to monitor for infection, waiting for it to stabilize before proceeding with suturing.

Previously, on March 18, Mr. Truong Van Viet, 36 years old in Cao village, Quang Phong commune, while helping with a wedding at his uncle's house in the same village, was also suddenly gored by a male buffalo tied to the floor. As a result, Mr. Viet also punctured his left thigh and is currently being treated at Que Phong District Medical Center./.
