Two cars collided and caught fire on the highway, at least 2 people died
A terrible accident occurred on the highway between a container truck and a passenger bus, causing both vehicles to burn, killing at least 2 people.
According to initial information, the accident occurred at 4:20 a.m. on July 21 on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, at Km12+850 in the direction of Long Thanh - Ho Chi Minh City, between a 16-seat passenger bus with license plate 51B-24103 and a container truck with license plate 15C-08813.
The accident caused two vehicles to burst into flames. The 16-seat passenger bus was completely burned, and the container of the tractor trailer was also burned.
According to initial reports, at least two people were killed.

Vietnam Expressway Services Joint Stock Company (VEC E) said that after receiving information about the incident, the unit coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Force of District 2 (HCMC), the Fire Prevention and Fighting Force of Long Thanh District (Dong Nai Province), the Traffic Police Force, and the Long Thanh District Police to handle the incident.
Currently, to fix the problem, investigate the cause of the incident and clear the scene, branch A on National Highway 51 in the direction of Long Thanh - Ho Chi Minh City is temporarily closed, not allowing vehicles to enter the highway.
According to VEC E, traffic will return to normal around 10:00 am this morning.
