South Korea: Resort collapses, 60 people buried.

According to THX and AFP, YTN television reported on February 17 that a resort in Gyeongju city, southeastern South Korea, collapsed due to the weight of heavy snowfall, burying approximately 60 university students.

The ceiling of an auditorium at the Mauna Ocean Resort in Gyeongju, 370km southeast of Seoul, collapsed at 9:15 p.m. (local time).

The collapse buried approximately 60 students from Busan University of Foreign Studies, with another 30 students taken to a nearby hospital.

Approximately 50 students are also receiving first aid.

Meanwhile, Yonhap News Agency reported that three students were killed and about 50 others are believed to be trapped in the collapse.
