South Korea donates 3 fire trucks to Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - In addition to supporting the Vietnam-Korea Vocational College, the delegation of the Gyeonggi-do Provincial Council (Korea) also presented Nghe An province with 3 fire trucks.
On the afternoon of October 24, continuing the program in Nghe An, the delegation of the Gyeonggi-do Provincial Council (Korea) had a working session at the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College and Nghe An Provincial Police.
Signing of educational cooperation
At the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College (abbreviated as Vietnam - Korea Vocational College), the delegation heard general information about the school.
Vietnam-Korea Vocational College is a gift from the Korean Government to Nghe An, and is considered one of the successful Korean educational investment projects abroad.
With 3 phases, Vietnam-Korea Vocational College received investment capital of up to 13.4 million USD.

With the desire to expand cooperation in the field of education, under the witness of the Gyeonggi-do Provincial Council, a signing ceremony took place between Gyeonggi-do University of Science and Technology and Vietnam-Korea Vocational College.
Speaking at the meeting, the President of Gyeonggi-do University of Science and Technology said that Gyeonggi-do University of Science and Technology is the leading university in the province.
With the memorandum of cooperation, the school commits to support the Vietnam-Korea Vocational College by providing 4,000 books for the Korean language department of the Vietnam-Korea Vocational College to provide resources on Korean culture and history for the school's students.

Mr. Kim Dal Soo - Head of the Committee for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Gyeonggi-do Provincial Delegation expressed his hope that the cooperative relationship between the two schools will become a symbol of cooperation between the two sides.
Donate Nghe An 3 fire trucks
At Nghe An Provincial Police, the Gyeonggi-do Provincial Assembly delegation discussed fire prevention and fighting work and presented 3 fire trucks to Nghe An Provincial Police.
Briefly announcing fire prevention and fighting activities in the province, a representative of Nghe An Provincial Police said that although the fire prevention and fighting force has made great efforts to ensure fire safety in the area, since 2013, there have been 393 fires, causing damage of 81 billion VND and 13 deaths. Fire fighting equipment has been invested, but is still insufficient compared to the needs of performing the task.

With the donation of 3 fire trucks, the representative of the Provincial Police Department respectfully thanked the support from Gyeonggi-do province as well as Korea, and affirmed that these vehicles will be used to the fullest, promoting their role and effectiveness in fire prevention work in the area.
Nghe An Provincial Police hope that in the coming time, the two sides will cooperate in many fields, exchange fire prevention and fighting experience, and use equipment.
On the side of the Gyeonggi-do Provincial Council, Mr. Kim Dal Soo suggested that in the coming time, with the aim of not only stopping at supporting equipment, the two sides need to organize exchanges between Nghe An Provincial Police and Gyeonggi Provincial Fire Prevention School to create connections and exchanges in personnel.
