South Korea and North Korea continue high-level meetings
South Korea has accepted North Korea's proposal to hold a high-level meeting on May 16 at the Panmunjom negotiation point on the border between the two countries.

"The high-level meeting between representatives of North and South Korea regarding the implementation of the Panmunjom Declaration for Peace, Prosperity and Unification of the Korean Peninsula will take place in Panmunjom on May 16," the South Korean Unification Ministry reported.
Earlier, North Korea sent a dispatch to South Korea requesting a high-level meeting on May 16.
The high-level meeting is expected to raise the issue of resuming dialogue along the Red Cross line, as well as reuniting separated relatives in the North and South.
