Dozens injured in steel plant explosion in Brazil
Several people were injured in an explosion at a steel plant in the Ipatinga district of Brazil's Minas Gerais state on August 10.
The company that owns the Usiminas plant said the explosion came from a gas storage facility during the steelmaking process.

A local fire department spokesman said several people were injured but the death toll was not yet known.
Meanwhile, local media reported that 25 people were injured. Usiminas, one of Brazil's largest steelmakers, said it had temporarily shut down its steel furnaces.
Immediately after news of the explosion, the company's stock value lost more than 9%.
