Airlines increase flights, sell cheap tickets on April 30
Many domestic airlines have increased flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang and Phu Quoc to dozens of flights per day.
To meet travel demand during the holiday, Vietnam Airlines said it will add 136 one-way flights between April 28 and May 4. With 250,000 seats, an increase of nearly 10% compared to normal and 35% compared to the same period last year, these additional flights will focus on routes between Hanoi - Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc.
Of which, the Hanoi - Da Nang route increased by 49 flights, Hanoi - Phu Quoc increased by 22 flights, Hanoi - Nha Trang increased by 14 flights, Hanoi - Hue increased by 16 flights, and Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc increased by 22 flights.

Also during this period, Vietjet Air added 140 flights compared to usual, bringing the total number of flights operated per day to 246, an increase of 66% over the same period. The routes with increased flights include Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Hue, Da Nang, Phu Quoc and Hanoi - Da Nang, Cam Ranh, Da Lat, Phu Quoc... Of which, the destinations with the most flights are Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc.
From April 26, the Hue - Nha Trang route was opened for the first time by Jestar Pacific Airlines. On this occasion, the airline opened a sale of cheap tickets from 90,000 VND per leg, flying from May 9 to May 23 and September 7 to October 29, the purchase period is from now until April 29.
Vietnam Airlines also launched the program "Opportunity to fly at preferential prices for only 399,000 VND" on some domestic routes such as Hanoi - Chu Lai and Ho Chi Minh City - Pleiku/Nha Trang. Ticket issuance and departure time is from now until May 31.
