A series of car models are discounted at the end of the year, some cars are discounted up to nearly 300 million VND

Specifically, the Honda CR-V C-class SUV continues to receive big promotions at many dealers in November in the form of direct discounts on the selling price, while also giving away a set of accessories. The total promotional value ranges from 160-180 million VND depending on the version and place of sale.

A sales staff at a Honda dealership in Hanoi said that currently, the lowest CR-V E version has a cash discount of about 70 million VND, the 2 CR-V G and L versions have a discount of 80-90 million VND. These are all cars manufactured in 2022.

All versions come with accessory gifts worth about 100 million VND, including heat-insulating film, floor mats, electric folding mirrors, underbody coating, soundproofing, body insurance, etc.

In addition to the purpose of stimulating sales, the continuous price reduction may be a sign that the new CR-V model will soon be introduced in Vietnam. According to a dealer employee, the 6th generation Honda CR-V is likely to be launched to Vietnamese users early next year.

As of the end of October 2022, Honda CR-V is the second best-selling model in the C-class SUV segment with cumulative sales of 8,037 units in 2022, behind Mazda CX-5 (sales of 10,973 units) and above Hyundai Tucson (5,887 units), Mitsubishi Outlander (3,994 units), Kia Sportage (2,322 units).

The Honda City has a lower discount of 55-60 million VND. Specifically, the Honda City E version has a discount of 55 million VND, bringing the car price from 499 million VND to 444 million VND. The G version, listed at 529 million VND, is now discounted by 55 million VND, while the L version is discounted by 60 million VND.

Meanwhile, some Toyota dealers are applying incentive programs for the Veloz and Vios models from 30-40 million VND. If the 7-seat MPV model is discounted 30 million VND in cash for both CVT and CVT Top versions, the car price will drop to 628 million VND.

The B-class sedan Vios is also applying a discount of about 40 million VND at the dealer and gifts according to the company's program. These are two car models with good sales of the Japanese car company and have great competition in the market.

At some Mitsubishi dealers, Xpander is also being reduced by about 10 million VND depending on the policy and dealer. This car model often has its own monthly incentive policies for each car line, so consumers can go directly to the dealer to receive different incentives.

For Korean car lines, although in October 2022, Kia and Hyundai adjusted the prices of a series of cars such as KIA Seltos, Sonet, K3, Hyundai Tucson, Santa Fe... up to now, they have adjusted them down separately for each model.

Specifically, the Sonet urban high-chassis model is currently being offered by dealers with a discount of about 10 million VND; the K3 C-size sedan is reduced by about 25 million VND for all versions; the Hyundai Accent B-size sedan is reduced by about 17-20 million VND (depending on the version and dealer); the Hyundai Creta is reduced by about 30 million VND...

For the Subaru Forester line, customers who order the Subaru Forester 2.0iL version will receive a cash discount of VND 259 million and gifts worth VND 25 million. For the Subaru Forester 2.0iS EyeSight version, customers will receive a cash discount of VND 184 million and a series of gifts.

Currently, the Subaru Forester has a listed price of 1.128 billion VND for the 2.0iL version and 1.288 billion VND for the 2.0iS EyeSight version. After the promotion, the price of the 2022 Forester will return to only 869 million VND for the 2.0iL version, while the 2.0iS EyeSight version will drop to 1.104 billion VND.
