Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung was the hero of the Vietnamese team in the semi-final match against Qatar. The Thanh Hoa goalkeeper brilliantly saved two penalties from Qatar in the nerve-wracking penalty shootout, helping the team continue their fairy tale at the U23 Asia.
After the match, Tien Dung became the most mentioned name, receiving great admiration from a series of Vietnamese beauties. On Facebook, singer Toc Tien did not hesitate to express: "If I meet you, I will definitely kiss you, Dung". Meanwhile, singer Bui Bich Phuong wrote: "Dung, I love you, I love all of you". Singer Bao Anh also confided: "I love Tien Dung so much, what is the weather like now?"

Meanwhile, Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh continuously updated her status while watching the semi-finals. When entering the decisive penalty shootout, the beauty wrote: "Dung, the whole country is looking at you" to cheer for goalkeeper Tien Dung. When Quang Hai scored, My Linh also shared: "Nguyen Quang Hai, you are so good, Vietnam".
Three days before, Tien Dung also became a "handsome guy" in the eyes of female fans when he caught Iraq's first penalty kick, helping Vietnam win the penalty shootout 5-3 to enter the semi-finals. After this match, hot actress Angela Phuong Trinh posted a photo of the Thanh Hoa goalkeeper and wrote: "Hey, be my girlfriend."
