Thousands of people watch football tournament in mountainous commune

(Baonghean.vn) - Practically celebrating the 87th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and enjoying the Spring of Dinh Dau, on January 31, 2017 (the 4th day of Tet), Tuong Son commune (Anh Son) opened a football tournament attracting thousands of spectators to cheer.

The men's football tournament to celebrate the Party and Spring of Tuong Son commune attracted 12 teams from 12 villages in the area to participate.

The tournament attracted 12 teams from 12 villages in the whole commune. The teams were divided into 4 qualifying groups, selecting 8 teams for the quarter-finals, 4 teams for the semi-finals and 2 teams for the final.

This is an annual tournament, organized by Tuong Son commune every Tet holiday, welcoming Spring with the aim of improving health, strengthening solidarity and creating a healthy and useful playground. Immediately after the opening ceremony, the opening match took place between the football teams of village 3 and village 11.
