Hundreds of warm clothes arrived for Con Cuong students

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 16, the Dinh Ty 1977 Nghe An Council presented warm clothes, blankets and many meaningful gifts to students of Cam Lam Secondary School, Con Cuong district.

The Dinh Ty 1977 National Council was established 1 year ago. The number of members in Nghe An participating in the association is more than 1,000 people.

Over the past year, the Association has actively called for and raised donations to support difficult circumstances, most notably supporting 500 million VND for a student in Hai Phong to have a heart transplant, and supporting many peers who are in trouble and suffering from serious illnesses.

On this occasion, with the spirit of supporting students in remote areas, the Council visited Cam Lam Secondary School in Con Cuong district and presented 143 warm coats, 143 pairs of boots, and 86 cotton blankets. The Association also presented 200kg of candy to 3 schools in the area and 5 gifts to 5 poor families in Cong and Cai villages. The total value of the gifts was 30 million VND.

With the above gifts, the members of the Association hope to help the children feel warmer, have less difficulty on the way to school this winter and have the motivation to strive to study better./.
