From early morning, 15 soldiers about to be discharged from the Provincial Border Guard were present at the Employment Service Center (Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs) with the desire to consult as many job opportunities as possible that suit their needs and strengths.
Mr. Vuong Thai Tuan in Nghi Cong Bac commune (Nghi Loc) will be discharged from the army in August 2021. When he had not yet decided where to work, he received information about this festival. "Before joining the army, I took a basic welding class, so now I really want to see where to recruit welders with reasonable salaries," Tuan shared.
This soldier also said that most of the soldiers participating in this session have not been equipped with skills and all want to learn a profession before looking for a job. However, Tuan believes that if their family situation is difficult and they urgently need a job, with ideal job opportunities like this, anyone can find a suitable job for themselves.

Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, the unit commander of 13 Border Guard soldiers who are about to be discharged this time, said: "The unit also hopes that, after coming to the transaction session, the soldiers after being discharged will have a clearer orientation about their career, choosing a solid path for themselves after being trained in the military environment with skills, discipline and passion for creativity." New recruit Nguyen Thanh Dat said: "I still have 1 year to be discharged, but right now I really want to learn about the job market, especially with foreign markets with high income levels."

Coming to the job fair, most of them want to find a job, however, for many soldiers, they look for a reputable vocational training center to learn a profession properly, equip themselves with skills so that whether working domestically or abroad, they can have a high income and long-term stability. Mr. Vu Ngoc Cuong, a former soldier, now a third-year student at Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense, said: "I spent 2 years in the army, but after returning home after being demobilized, I could not find a stable job because I had no skills. I did this job today and that job tomorrow, and my income was not much. I went to a job fair and applied to Vocational College No. 4 to study Electronics to find a new opportunity. Now it is my final year and I hope to find many job opportunities with high incomes and well-trained skills. In my opinion, whether I like it or not, workers must be trained in both soft skills and professional skills, professional discipline, and foreign language proficiency to be able to find a long-term, stable job, and when you need to transfer to another unit, you will also have many opportunities."
Coming to today's job fair were not only soldiers discharged in 2020 but also final year students of Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense. In addition to Mr. Vu Ngoc Cuong, more than 100 vocational students all hope to have the opportunity to work in the country with a high income this year. However, many young people think that if the Covid-19 epidemic situation decreases, the path to work abroad with equipped skills will be their direction.

Every year, Nghe An has 4,000 demobilized soldiers, many of whom have received vocational training with the hope of being recruited into suitable business units. Besides, there are also soldiers who have not received vocational training because they do not have a clear career orientation, so the unemployment rate in this group is still high.
Attending the opening ceremony of the session, Mr. Ngo Xuan Lieu - Director of the National Center for Employment Services said: "Organizing a job session for veterans is an extremely necessary program, because the number of veterans discharged from the army each year is large, most of them do not have jobs, this group is also a force with good qualities and discipline, so after participating in these sessions, they have the opportunity to be recruited for suitable job positions, have a stable life, continue to contribute and build their homeland".
