Ms. Ho Thi Tam, Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Dien Thanh commune, said: Because Dien Thanh beach is close to Cua Lach estuary, whenever the sluice gate is opened, a large amount of waste, especially water hyacinth, floats and washes ashore. This has been a concern for the locality for many years. In the long term, Dien Chau district has allocated funds for the locality to sign a contract with a unit responsible for collecting waste at Dien Thanh beach with a frequency of once a month, and possibly twice a month in the near future during peak months. At the same time, efforts will be intensified to raise awareness among residents and tourists.
Previously, Nghe An Newspaper also published an article "With the tourist season approaching, Dien Thanh beach is still littered with trash."This reflects the pollution situation at Dien Thanh beach."
