(Baonghean.vn) - In Roc Chua field, Dien Minh commune (Dien Chau), nearly 100 people were present from early morning to plow the fields and plant rice to help Ms. Hoang Thi Soa, a person in difficult circumstances in the village.

Although she is nearly 80 years old, Ms. Hoang Thi Soa in Hamlet 6, Dien Minh Commune still cannot rest in peace as she still has many worries, because her husband died early, and her eldest son also passed away due to illness at a very young age. She only has her youngest son, Cao Dinh Thanh (born in 1970), and his wife, Hoang Thi Linh, to rely on in her old age. However, disaster struck the family when Mr. Thanh had a serious traffic accident and had to be treated at Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi).

Not only did the family's assets have to be sold to pay for his medical treatment, but the family's only source of income - 8 acres of rice fields - had to be abandoned when Mrs. Soa was old and weak and her 2 children were only in elementary school.

Knowing the difficult situation of Mrs. Soa's family, Mr. Hoang Trong Huong - Secretary of the hamlet Party Cell and the Head of the Women's Union of Hamlet 6 mobilized people to participate in plowing, harrowing and planting rice on an area of 8 sao of Mrs. Soa's family's rice field to meet the season.

It is known that all costs for plastic bags, seedlings and tractor rental were donated by the people.

Mr. Hoang Trong Huong - Secretary of the Party Cell of Hamlet 6 shared: “To help Mrs. Soa feel secure when her son is in the hospital and the children do not have to miss school when both have been excellent students for many years, the people in the hamlet, especially the Women's Union, have taken turns in charge of her family's farming. In addition, in recent days, the hamlet has also been in charge of 5 sao of rice fields of Ms. Thai Thi Nhung and 6 sao of rice fields of Ms. Ha Thi Thuy in the hamlet, both of whom are being treated for serious illnesses. Although most of the people in the hamlet still have many difficulties in life, the spirit of mutual love and neighborly love has always been maintained by everyone for decades.”
