According to the plan, on the afternoon of January 30, a group of players from Nghe An and Ha Tinh, belonging to the Vietnam U23 team, including Cong Phuong, Van Duc, Duy Manh, Van Hoang and Tien Dung, will return to Vinh. SLNA Club and SLNA Supporters Association have planned to welcome the heroes back to their hometown, organize a parade in Vinh city before attending the gala honoring them organized by the Provincial People's Committee at the Nghe An Provincial Labor Culture House.

The three players Cong Phuong, Van Duc, and Xuan Manh were all discovered at the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament. All three were excellent players of the tournament, helping Do Luong and Yen Thanh win the championship and runner-up in the 2005-2006 and 2007-2008 seasons, respectively.

At the honoring ceremony organized by the Provincial People's Committee on the night of January 30, Nghe An Newspaper will also reward 3 players who grew up from the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children Football Tournament.

On the afternoon of January 30, Mr. Nguyen Cong Bay, Cong Phuong's father, said that the family was very happy and proud of their son. When they learned that Nghe An Provincial People's Committee organized the honor, and SLNA Supporters Association organized a welcome and parade from Vinh airport, the family was very moved. Brothers, relatives and neighbors also came to share the joy and decided to go to Vinh to welcome Cong Phuong.

Mr. Bay said that when the family wanted to go to Vinh to pick up Cong Phuong, representatives of Song Lam Nghe An Club and OtoFun Nghe An Forum contacted and arranged cars to pick everyone up.

Mr. Hoang Lam, Administrator of OtoFun Nghe An Forum, said that for the past 2 days, forum members have been preparing a plan to welcome the players back to their hometown. Accordingly, the members will be divided into 2 groups. The first group will depart from Cong Phuong's house, pick up Cong Phuong's family and relatives and depart for Vinh at 4:00 p.m. The second group will be on duty at the Nghe An Provincial Labor Culture House and then join the group to go to Vinh airport to welcome the players back.

There are 20 luxury cars of Nghe An OtoFun Forum that will be the frame, leading the way to carry the players and their relatives in the parade in the city. In addition, it is expected that more than 200 cars from the forum will also be present in the parade to welcome the players.

Meanwhile, according to information from Yen Thanh district, fans of the rice land will gather at Phan Dang Luu Square and then march to Vinh city to welcome their favorite players. Of the 4 Nghe An players in the U23 Vietnam squad, Yen Thanh contributes 2 players, Van Duc and Xuan Manh.

In Do Luong district, it is expected that on January 31, when Cong Phuong returns, Do Luong district will hold a ceremony to honor Cong Phuong at My Son commune stadium with the participation of many people in the district.
