Returning to her maternal hometown, walking among the rows of areca trees and the familiar banks of the palm trees, Mrs. Tran Thi Thu Ha (57 years old) in Cau Giay district (Hanoi) tearfully shared: “I cried when reading “Blue Lotus” by writer Son Tung. Now that I have returned to visit Uncle Ho’s hometown, I feel so moved and emotional. From this simple, poor thatched roof, he traveled all over the world to find a way to liberate the nation, bringing independence, freedom and happiness to the country and homeland. The more I think about him, the more I see his greatness, the more I admire and respect him.” Photo: Huy Thu |
