Passenger wants to marry his daughter to a 9X railway employee
(Baonghean.vn)- That is one of the comments on Facebook about the humane action of a male railway employee on the Vinh - Hanoi route.
In recent days, many people on the internet have shared the story of Facebook user Xuan Hong Tran in the story titled "I have another grandchild working in the railway industry". Specifically, this Facebook owner recounted: On the evening of April 21, 2016, after a vacation, my son and his wife boarded train NA2 to Hanoi to catch the flight to Japan at Noi Bai airport.
At 5am, when I called my son to see if the train had arrived at the station, surprisingly, on the other end was a polite young man answering the phone: 'Hello, I am a service staff on the Vinh - Hanoi railway line and found this phone in the train car. I was trying to contact the owner's family, but unfortunately the phone was locked. Luckily, when you called, I saw the words "Mother Hong" on the phone. You must be the mother of the person who left the phone behind?'
I quickly explained to the staff and expressed my concern because my child had lost his phone. Not to mention the money, more importantly, if I lost my phone, all the contact information on it would be lost. The flight was approaching, and my child could not return to the terminal to retrieve his phone.

When he heard the story, the young man immediately asked: “What time is your daughter’s flight?”. I told him that they had an 8:20 a.m. flight. Almost without thinking much, the young man immediately said: “If that’s the case, I’ll take a taxi to the airport now and give your daughter the phone. Don’t worry!”
It was exactly as the staff said. More than an hour later, my son called back to say that he had received a call just before entering the waiting room to board the plane. My son raised the issue of paying the expenses and tips, but the railway staff said that they could go on their way with peace of mind.
The next morning, I went to Vinh Station to meet a kind railway employee. He was a young man with a cute and open face. “The taxi ride to the airport cost 640,000 VND, round trip, but the driver only charged 600,000 VND. Please give me 600,000 VND.” I tried to beg him to give me a little more as a thank you, but I couldn’t convince him. Really, everything was like a fairy tale. Not only did my son not lose his phone, but from now on I also have a nephew working in the railway industry…”
According to our research, Facebook Xuan Hong Tran belongs to Mrs. Tran Thi Hong, who is currently working at a bank in Vinh City. Talking to us, Mrs. Hong said: When I shared Minh's actions on my personal Facebook page, my purpose was to let everyone see that in our society there are many good people, and at the same time, I also hope to multiply more and more similar deeds and actions...

Mr. Vu Dang Minh (second from right) and colleagues |
Inquiring about the railway industry, we learned that on the NA train running on the Vinh-Hanoi route on the evening of April 21, there was a male employee named Vu Dang Minh, a service employee on the Vinh-Hanoi route. When trying to contact this railway employee, he said that what he did was not a big deal because any railway employee who encountered the above situation would have acted the same way.
He also added: "However, I should have made a report to the train captain before returning the items to the passengers according to the rules. But at that time, I had to do it "against the rules" because the situation was quite urgent. If I had stayed to make a report, the passenger might not have been able to get the lost phone back because he and his wife had already left for their flight."
The story of railway employee Vu Dang Minh after being shared received many compliments. Many people said that actions like his have "lit up more faith", "a meaningful action", "very wonderful, there are still many good people like that" and some even commented quite happily: "If I had a niece or daughter, I would marry this employee immediately if he accepted"...
Ms. Tran Thi Hong herself confided: "That's the truth, but now when I think back to my phone conversation with Vu Dang Minh, I think it was a fairy tale"...
