Kevin, 31, came to the US in 2003 and graduated from university with a degree in business administration.and his younger brother Kencome up with the idea ofmobile nap service last year, after being inspired by her father about the importance of napping.

"Vietnamese and Japanese people often have a culture of napping from 1pm to 2pm every day. People take a nap to regain energy for the remaining half of the day, to be alert and focused," Kevin explained. "Americans have also started to pay attention to this. Large corporations such asGoogle, Nike, British Airways and many others have encouraged a napping culture and have seen great success with increased productivity and employee satisfaction."

After a year of planning to start a business and design sleeping vans, Kevin and Ken's idea of energizing people with naps became a reality when they launched the Nappify service on May 31 in Santa Ana, California.

Many major American TV channels such asCBS, NBC, Fox reported on the birth ofdThe world's first mobile nap service.

Nappify trucks stand out on the streets thanks to their white printed designh image of a sleeping person. The 5 meter long car, invested by Kevin at a cost of 40,000 USD, includes 4 rooms with modern equipment such as TV, folding table, music speakers, wifi, mineral water, soundproof walls.

Nappify offers 4 mobile nap pods.

The price for a 45-minute nap according to scientific standards is $12.99.

"The rooms are equipped with smart lights that are controlled by staff to wake up customers. After 45 minutes, the soft lights will gradually brighten and change color according to the customer's preference to wake them up," Kevin told VnExpress. "If customers want, they can continue to stay in the room to study or work. We will clean the room after each guest."

Kevin is both the owner and the driver, organizing the parking lot, advertising on-site and operating the service with a part-time employee. He believes this startup idea is low risk because the investment cost is not too expensive, there is no need to rent a large location, managerelatively simple and does not require many staff.

As planned, Kevin will bring NappifyGo to local businesses and schools to promote and serve people.

At its grand opening at Santa Ana College earlier this week, Nappify offered students 40 minutes of free nap time on the first day of finals week.In addition, students were given water and earplugs. For the next two days, Nappify is offering a 25% discount to all students of the school who use the service.

Nappify also announces its operating itinerary on its website and social networking sites so that customers can proactively book a place to sleep.

Kevin said that within just a few days of opening, his service received great support from the community.

"Customers shared that they really liked this new idea because it helped them feel more awake and healthy. They even promised to share it with their friends to try," he said. "MOne person who tried the sleepover on the opening day came back the next day and paid for it and tipped the staff. He had only slept two hours the night before because he had to study for his final exams at school. He was very grateful to Nappify for helping him regain his energy to continue his studies."

With a successful start, Kevin and Ken plan to design more trucks with double the number of bedrooms when the business is stable, but still ensure the trucks are compact, easy to move and park.also wanted to create a software that would help customers schedule the time and location where they wanted to take a nap.

""I'd rather have an idea that makes a million dollars than a million dollars, because with that idea, I can make the lives of people around me better," Kevin said. "Napping is very beneficial for health and beauty, and also helps reduce the risk of traffic accidents due to lack of sleep. Nappify will continue to bring useful naps to everyone. If they don't have the habit of napping, we will train them to work more effectively."
