Another factor shared by left-back Mai Sy Hoang is that the Vietnamese team diligently practices aerial balls. He said that the players of the U22 Vietnam team are not necessarily short. But the team has prepared early to deal with aerial situations against tall teammates on the opposing team.
Sy Hoang expressed his comfort: "I really don't feel much pressure. I will play as much as I have. The U22 Vietnam team is a collective with many professional players. Training and competition will help me improve many things."

The U22 Vietnam team will train until mid-June. Before that, the U22 Vietnam team had 2 days of practice matches with the Vietnam team and lost both matches. The team only scored 1 goal thanks toHuynh Thang, the player temporarily left the team due to injury.
According to the plan, at the end of this year, the U22 Vietnam team will compete in the 2022 U23 Asian qualifiers before competing at the 2021 SEA Games. 7 U22 Vietnam players have also been called up to the Vietnam team by coach Park Hang-seo to gain more experience and competitive spirit.
