Nam Dan District People's Council elects key positions

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 27, Nam Dan District People's Council held the first session of the 20th term, 2016-2021 term.

Attending the meeting were comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nam Dan District Party Committee; Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Dau Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Tran Van Mao - Standing member of the Provincial People's Council.

The meeting approved the election results of the District People's Council for the 2016-2021 term and reported the results of confirming the qualifications of elected delegates to the 20th District People's Council for the 2016-2021 term.

Considering the submissions of the District People's Council, with a sense of responsibility, democracy and innovation, the District People's Council delegates voted to elect the following positions: Chairman of the People's Council, Vice Chairman of the People's Council; Head of the Socio-Economic Committee, Legal Committee; Chairman, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee; members of the District People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.

As a result, Mr. Nguyen Lam Son - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee was elected as Chairman of the District People's Council for the 2016-2021 term; Ms. Tran Thi Hien - Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Mr. Dang Van Thanh - Vice Chairman of the People's Council were elected as Vice Chairman of the District People's Council for the 2016-2021 term; at the same time, the Head of the Legal Committee, Head of the Economic - Social Committee - District People's Council for the 2016-2021 term were elected.

Mr. Dinh Xuan Que - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 2011-2016 term was re-elected as Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term; Mr. Nguyen Hong Son and Mr. Ho Sy Hai - Vice Chairmen of the District People's Committee were re-elected as Vice Chairmen of the District People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term. The meeting also elected 14 members of the District People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.

With the spirit of active, urgent, democratic, innovative and highly responsible work, the First Session of the People's Council of Nam Dan district, term XX, 2016-2021, has completed the contents according to the proposed program. Based on the assessment of the results of the implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of the year and the tasks in the last 6 months of 2016, the main goals and tasks were set out, striving to excellently complete the tasks of the plan in 2016 and the 5-year plan 2016-2021.
