Masan MB Company Limited is located in Nam Cam Industrial Park, producing and trading instant noodles and fish sauce.

Based on monitoring production stages and directly listening to workers' opinions, members of the monitoring team also raised some concerns.

Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Thu Huong is concerned about the issue of workers being organized to work 3 consecutive shifts and leaving the factory right after the end of working hours; therefore, enterprises need to arrange and allocate time to propagate and disseminate legal regulations as well as policies and regimes for workers to be implemented.

On the other hand, businesses also need to pay attention to promoting the role of the Trade Union - representing employees in resolving employees' rights.

Some members also noted that enterprises need to ensure that the green area in the factory premises is at least 20% as committed in the environmental impact assessment report, ensuring the general air filtration; at the same time, consider discharging waste without connecting to the centralized wastewater treatment system of Nam Cam Industrial Park when the enterprise has invested in a wastewater system that meets type A according to discharge standards.

Regarding labor contracts, it is necessary to describe in detail the specific job, industry, salary and salary increase regime, labor protection regime, shift meals..., ensuring the immediate and long-term rights of employees when implementing the social insurance regime.

Concluding the monitoring session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Viet Duong acknowledged the awareness and responsibility of enterprises in complying with laws on environmental protection, occupational safety and health, and policies and regimes for employees.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also requested that enterprises continue to pay attention to implementing regulations on environmental protection, occupational safety and health, and improving the salary regime for employees, ensuring harmony of interests between enterprises and employees, between enterprises and the community; not to violate the law on environmental protection, occupational safety and health, and the regime and policies for employees, and not to owe taxes or social insurance arrears.

Enterprises also need to strengthen the implementation of democratic regulations, organize periodic dialogues with employees, and create a consensus relationship for the common development of enterprises and employees.
