Nghe An Provincial People's Council dismissed and elected additional members of the Provincial People's Committee.

On the morning of May 13, at the 21st session, the 17th term People's Council of Nghe An province carried out personnel work within its authority.

Based on the proposal of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Council dismissed Major General Vo Trong Hai - former Director of the Provincial Police Department - from the position of member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term due to transfer to another job.

Previously, on April 15, 2021, the Central Party Secretariat issued a decision to transfer and appoint comrade Vo Trong Hai - Member of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, Director of Nghe An Provincial Police to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, holding the position of Deputy Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025; then was elected by the People's Council of Ha Tinh province to hold the position of Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee.

Colonel Pham The Tung - Director of Nghe An Provincial Police:

- Born in 1972, hometown Tien Lu, Hung Yen province.

- Joined the People's Police in September 1990.

- Joined the Party in January 1997.

- Master of Law, Police University.

- Advanced political theory.

- He held many positions at Hung Yen Provincial Police before being appointed Deputy Director of the Provincial Police. Since October 2019, he has been Director of Bac Ninh Provincial Police.
