Nghe An Provincial People's Council will supervise the implementation of the 5-year socio-economic development plan (2021 - 2025) in a number of sectors and localities.
(Baonghean.vn) - The monitoring delegation, in addition to the Standing Committee and Committees of the Provincial People's Council, will invite a number of relevant agencies, units and experts to participate.

At the 17th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, the Provincial People's Council resolved and approved the Resolution to establish a thematic supervision team on "Implementation of socio-economic goals and targets according to Resolution No. 18, dated December 13, 2020 of the Provincial People's Council on the 5-year socio-economic development plan (2021 - 2025) of Nghe An province".
Accordingly, the scope of supervision is the implementation of socio-economic goals and targets according to Resolution No. 18, dated December 13, 2020 of the Provincial People's Council on the 5-year socio-economic development plan (2021 - 2025) of Nghe An province, data from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023.

The subjects of supervision include the Provincial People's Committee and specialized agencies of the Provincial People's Committee, which are provincial-level departments, branches and sectors; District-level People's Committees, relevant agencies, organizations, units and enterprises.
The content of monitoring is about the results achieved; existing problems, limitations, difficulties, and obstacles; clearly identifying the objective and subjective causes and responsibilities of agencies, organizations, and units in implementing the socio-economic goals and targets according to Resolution No. 18, dated December 13, 2020 of the Provincial People's Council on the 5-year socio-economic development plan (2021 - 2025) of Nghe An province. Through that, it aims to suggest, propose and provide specific solutions to better implement in the coming time the 5-year socio-economic development goals and targets (2021 - 2025) in the whole province.

Members of the monitoring delegation, in addition to the Standing Committee and Committees of the Provincial People's Council, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council and a number of Provincial People's Council delegates; the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council will also invite the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, leaders of a number of relevant agencies and units and a number of experts in the supervised field to participate in the monitoring.
The monitoring period is expected to be held at the end of the first quarter of 2024.
