Revealing the poor rented room of Miss H'Hen Nie

After being crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2017, H'Hen Niê became a name that many people searched for. Not only about her current life, everything related to her was exploited by netizens, especially about her difficult life before being crowned.

H'Hen Nie's family background is different from other beauty queens. When she first came to Saigon to live and study, H'Hen Nie had to manage her own living expenses. She and two other friends rented a room for 2.5 million VND. Each month, the new beauty queen had to pay about 800,000 VND for accommodation fees.

H'Hen Niê once confided her difficult situation to her friend, who is also a contestant in the Miss Universe pageant - Hong Thuong. This contestant shared her feelings after finishing the Miss pageant journey. She expressed:“As for Ms. Hen, I remember her confession during the program rehearsal, she told me that this year's Tet was sad because she didn't have money to give lucky money to the children at home, normally every year she would save money. So Tet was very happy! This year, participating in the program, not being able to work, had to spend all her savings to shop.”
